Chris + Erin | Engagement Session - Buffalo Trace, Frankfort, Kentucky
Oh, I don’t even have the words for Chris and Erin! These two are just as precious as they come. They had me laughing so hard during their engagement session at Buffalo Trace.
To start with, a few days before the shoot Erin emailed me wondering if we could incorporate their dogs in the session. I loved the idea, especially as I have more clients wanting to bring their little fur buddies into their sessions (or weddings!). When I asked her if it was just two dogs (since she did mention dogs) she enthusiastically said they had three. It made me absolutely love the idea of incorporating them even more – because obviously these two had a passion for animals. Their sweet pups did a fantastic job while we were at Cherokee Park, but after we got a few shots there we moved on to Buffalo Trace out in Frankfort, KY.
Out at Buffalo Trace these two had the case of the giggles while still getting comfortable in front of the camera. But after just a few minutes, the two became naturals. Their sweet and playful banter reminded me of how my husband and I are constantly interacting with one another. I loved that about them! And I loved that they felt so comfortable with me to act themselves and be natural. It makes my job so easy!
I can’t wait for Chris and Erin’s wedding in October here in Louisville, KY (my first for the year since so many have been out of state!). If their engagement session was anything like what their wedding will be, it is going to be amazing! Thanks Chris and Erin for allowing me to document your sweet time as an engaged couple!
